DEBRA Programme of the Council of Europe, Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia and the National Medical Ethics Committee are organising a symposium entitled »International Ethical Standards of Biomedical Research on Human Beings«. The main purpose of the event is to discuss the ethical principles and practice of ethical review of research on human beings and to promote the dialogue between the parties concerned, i.e. scientists, pharmaceutical companies, politicians, lawyers, patients, public, journalists. The official language of the event will be English. Further information is in the enclosed/attached documents.
